Our Career Launcher initiative
VINCI Energies Omexom Australia has again shown their commitment towards gender equity, by sponsoring young female university students to attend the Clean Energy Summit on 19 – 20 July 2022.
Each student is currently undertaking their PhD and/or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Science and are seeking to further their knowledge and professional development from these events, through networking and attending information sessions.
Females continue to be vastly under-represented in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) workforce and it is important that young professionals graduate with a STEM qualification and pursue a career in this field.
We are encouraged that with more female university students graduating from the traditional male dominated STEM academic degrees, they will act as role models to motivate younger peers to join Australia’s talent pool in these disciplines.
